I met Michael Barrett at my recent review appointment for a broken ankle. Despite my appointment being the last of the day, I didn’t feel rushed at all, Michael was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. Would definitely recommend him.

I found Mr Barrett to be friendly and approachable. He listened to my concerns and made excellent recommendations. I never felt rushed and he took them time to explain my injury. His treatment plan was modern and really took into account the latest research.

Mr Barrett is a Consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon working at Addenbrookes, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundations Trust. Mikes interests are in major trauma, complex lower limb trauma, and foot and ankle surgery.
Mike undertook his orthopaedic surgical training across the East of England. He completed a specialist foot and ankle fellowship at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. He also gained extensive experience managing patients with complex trauma at the Royal London Hospital.
Mike has a keen interest in digital medical education both for patients and surgeons. He has developed the websites www.orthohub.xyz for surgeons and www.fractureinfo.co.uk for patients.
